Ant Moore Estate
A well rounded Sauvignon Blanc, displaying intense lemon flavours with hints of lime. While the nose is subtle, this wine has a great richness, palate length and weight that provides huge flavour intensity on the finish. A drier style, classic Ant Moore style Sauvignon Blanc.
Blackberry, plum, pepper, liquorice and leather are shown very clear on this wine.
Subtle oak and youthful tannin structure gives complexity with a texture that has great depth.
Each batch was fermented on its own. The fermenters spent around 26 days on skins before being gently pressed. The wine was matured for 10 months in high quality French oak barrels from the highly regarded Vosges forest.
Wine Makers Notes:
This wine was a pleasure to make, with the high quality fruit we got all we had to do is ensure the temperature was where it should it be and gently punch down the skins twice a day.
